Junior Olympic Program Information
2022 National Pistol Junior Olympic Championships will be held at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO from July 24 – 31, 2022.

Shotgun juniors are invited to compete at the their State Junior Olympic location to qualify for the National Junior Olympic Championships. Find your Shotgun State JO Location!
Shotgun National Junior Olympic Championships will be held from July 25 – 31, 2022 in Hillsdale, Michigan.

The total cost per individual is $500.00
A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required for initial registration. The remaining $300.00 will be due upon arrival at the event.
A $200.00 discount will be given for those who provide a valid MidwayUSA Foundation Account Number, bringing the after-deposit cost due at the time of arrival down to $100.00
Level 2 Coach credentials are a prerequisite and must be obtained prior to attending the Level 3 Course. This course can be conducted etirely online through the American Sport Education Program (ASEP). The required course is “Coaching Principles – 4th Edition” and can be accessed at: https://coacheducation.humankinetics.com/ A current First Aid certification is also required. ASEP offers a online First Aid course in addition to the Coaching Principles course.

NOTE: When you register, select either “Men’s Air Rifle” if you are registering for Rifle, or “Men’s Air Pistol” if you are registering for Pistol. Ignore the “10m Air” and gender portions… there is not currently a generic Rifle/Pistol event built into the event management system.

USA Shooting is authorized by the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) to host national and international matches. USA Shooting can also sanction matches for regional and local competitions.
Authorized shooting matches outside of the USA Shooting national or international calendar are sanctioned by the competitions division for Member Clubs. These matches include Preliminary Tryouts (PTOs), Junior Olympic programs, and more.
